Improving Outcomes in Patients with Acute Coronary Syndrome

Performance Improvement (PI) CME Activity

The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine’s Improving Outcomes in Patients with Acute Coronary Syndrome is a complementary, online Performance Improvement (PI) CME activity that provides cardiologists, hospitalists, and emergency medicine physicians nationwide the tools to measure quality of care and to identify opportunites to improve the care and outcomes of patients with Acute Coronary Syndrome.

Participants in this AMA-standardized, 3-Stage PI activity will assess their current practice by submitting data on STEMI and NSTEMI patients and receive confidential self-assessment reports on how their practice compares to the evidence-based ACC/AHA 2008 Performance Measures for Adults with ST-Elevation and Non ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction. Participants will then formulate and implement an improvement plan based on guidelines and reassess their practice and report on changes from the initial assessment. Throughout this activity participants will have access to expert faculty Mentors to answer their ACS-related questions.

Earn up to 20 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™
